Haiwaan earns ₹7.35 crore in three days as Mirzapur: The Movie crosses ₹220 crore gross

The performance of Haiwaan Box Office Collection continues to disappoint since the release of its first weekend. This movie starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan earned a total of ₹7.35 crore net in the Indian market after being released for three days, showing poor performance in terms of box office collection. Haiwaan is a movie directed by Priyadarshan, which became the topic of interest among the public since the movie reunites Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan onscreen after 17 years. From the box office data, one can conclude that this movie has faced difficulties in appealing to the people in its initial run. The 2D version of the Hindi movie occupied 17.13 per cent overall on its third day of release. The morning shows occupied 6.15 per cent, the afternoon shows 19.77 per cent, evening 22.92 per cent, and the night shows 19.69 per cent.

Haiwaan focuses on Shyam, the protagonist, played by Saif Ali Khan, who becomes a victim of being accused of killing retired Judge Pradhan, played by Boman Irani. Parshuram, a serial killer played by Akshay Kumar, is the one who goes after the Pradhan's daughter Nandini. While facing danger, Nandini receives protection from Shyam who takes all means available to do so. The film involves crime, action and thriller genres with its main plot centered on Shyam's efforts to rescue Nandini despite the accusations he has received.

One of the most prominent points about Haiwaan is the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The two actors, who have already collaborated before, reunite after a gap of 17 years. As per Sacnilk, the domestic gross collection of Mirzapur: The Movie in India is ₹220.10 crore, whereas the domestic net collection of the movie is ₹184.79 crore. This is the first time that the world of Mirzapur has come on screens, as this story was first narrated through a web series on Prime Video in 2018. Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, and Pankaj Tripathi have reprised their role in the movie. The cast also includes Rasika Dugal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. The addition to the cast in the movie are Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan and Sonal Chauhan. This movie is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment.
